Potential career path for this position is to be promoted to Senior VP. The company is looking for a leader to direct and oversee their entire laboratory operations, including the central lab located in the Coporate offices, and all office laboratories. Someone able to handle diverse set of position responsibilities ranging from conceptual, strategic thinking to demonstration of good lab techniques. Develop and implement quality and productivity standards, objectives and protocol for all products manufactured at the labs. Works with Operations Management and Managing Clinical Directors to ensure dentures, crowns and bridges meet quality standards and productivity requirements. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Minimum 5 years experience managing busy dental lab required. Excellent technical lab skills required. Significant experience with retail environment necessary. Good people management, communications, interpersonal and organizational skills required. These are on-site denture lab management positions. While initially the manager works alone, as the business grows, other technicians are added. Must be proficient in all areas of denture fabrication and be comfortable with the pack method. Quality focus, knowledge of complete denture and partial production process, highly proficient in all areas of fabrication, experience with pack method, strong communication skills and customer satisfaction focus. Experienced set-up technician proficient in all phases of denture and partial fabrication preferably experience in working on-site in a dental practice, but not necessary.
